Many technologies like adsorption, absorption, light-mediated catalysis, and various chemical reactions have been implied in the process of remediation environmental pollutants. Still, pollutants undoubtedly remain major problem. The nanotechnologies explored for its use as capture degradation Nanotechnology or nanotech is simply defined particles matters at nanoscale ranging from 1 to 100 nanometer. reactivity depends upon surface area-to-volume nanoparticles utilized purpose. most important factors effective using are detailed analysis in-situ location, kind be treated, decision specific used very critically important. following chapter deals with different kinds (Polymeric-based, semiconductor-based, pottery-based, metal-based, carbon-based nanoparticles) pollutions. such on heavy metals, organic inorganic matters, herbicides, volatile compounds, aromatic etc. ubiquitously present environment (air, water, soil). implications these living organisms (plants, animals, humans).
